Faith Lutheran became a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregation in 2017. The RIC program is run by ReconcilingWorks to recognize congregations and other bodies that publicly adopt a Welcome Statement that specially includes a welcome for all sexual orientations and gender identities. View Faith’s welcome statement.
For Faith, being RIC goes beyond just the words in our welcome statement, it is a commitment to keep learning, growing, and changing to ensure that all people are fully welcomed, included, and recognized at Faith. We know that God’s love, grace, and forgiveness is already freely given to all, so we strive to make sure that we convey that to all in our community through our words and actions.
